Get colour-ready for 2017: The colour of nature

I have a confession to make – I’m feeling incredibly optimistic about 2017 due to one very simple reason – Pantone has announced that the colour of 2017 is Greenery – YAY!!!  People who follow my work would know that my art prints are hugely inspired by nature, from the organic forms to the colour palettes, nature has all the answers to the perfect colour combination.  Green is undoubtably an uplifting colour that helps elevate one’s mood- it is one of the ‘happy’ colours that I always include in my wardrobe.

Get inspired by nature – green and pink shades are great for Spring

Green symbolises wellness (think of all those healthy greens that can help flush out the toxins in your body), breathing space (vegetation = oxygen) and opportunities (growth = expansion).  This wonderfully eye-pleasing colour also represents the heart chakra in the yogi world, which is our source of love and compassion.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with colour-matching greens – Blue may not seem like an obvious choice but the blue and green combo works really well together.

Take inspiration from artwork – MASE latest canvas art print ‘LOVE’. Purple and green is a match made in heaven. The soothing colours help bring warmth to an interior space

Hope you guys will enjoy experimenting with this heart-warming colour of the season.  Happy 2017!
